Pakistan Allow NATO Pasok Food

ISLAMABAD- Pakistan declared, his country had given permission for NATO forces to use the airspace as well as the Pakistani army lines for transporting food supplies to NATO forces in Afghanistan.

"The Government has given permission for NATO forces to supply food to Afghanistan through the air or land," said Pakistani Defence Minister Ahmed Mukhtar Chaudhry was quoted as saying in The Times of India Wednesday (15/2/2012).

However, permission is asserted Mukhtar only applies to transport food to arrive in Pakistan. However, Mukhtar doesn't explain further when such permission came into effect.

"They have been advised to not load the supplies of excessive," he said.
