CAIRO- The public prosecutor (JPU) Egypt presented new evidence related to charges of murder, which was addressed to Egypt's former President Husni Mubarak.
Prosecutor Mustafa Suleiman said, Mubarak and the other defendants did not directly involved in the killing, but they play a role in making the decision.
The evidence in the form of a video recording which was featured in the trial, showed police shooting against the demonstrators. In the video also contained pictures of demonstrators were hurt.
"The police did indeed target the eyes of the demonstrators to make them blind and prevent them witnessing the end of this revolution," said Suleiman was quoted as saying Reuters, Thursday (5/1/2012).
In addition the Attorney also presents the head of communications at the Institute of Egypt Security major General Hussein Said. Maj. Gen. Said in his testimony said, Secretary of the Interior Minister has given instructions to riot police to use weapons against the demonstrators.
During the reign of Mubarak, the Agency's security very feared and hated by the people of Egypt. The Institute used to conduct torture against political opponents and citizens who opposed the regime of Mubarak.
In March 2011, demonstrators attacked the headquarters of State security and find video footage depicting the torture of prisoners and the different tools used to torment them.
Speculation is widespread mention, Egypt Security Agencies are part of the regime of Mubarak's left and are behind the acts of violence against the demonstrators.
The trial against former President Husni Mubarak is the only trial conducted against former Arab leaders stepped down from his position. The trial took place amid the unstable conditions in Egypt, following a clash between Government forces and pro-democracy activists who were continuous.(rhs)
