CANBERRA -Australia's Prime Minister Julia Gillard delivers warning loudly to Pakistan. Gillard called on Pakistan to strive to overcome terrorism action, especially in border regions near Afghanistan.
Gillard said, Australia will only provide assistance in the form of training to troops in Afghanistan near the Pakistan border region. Indeed, it has often received attacks from the Taliban, which has a defense base in Pakistan.
Given this training process is over, Australia had handed security responsibility entirely to the parties in Afghanistan. He also called on Pakistan to help the security of neighboring countries.
"We will continue to help Afghanistan's efforts to ensure the country is no longer a defense base and training centre of the activities of international terrorism," said MINISTER Gillard was quoted as saying The Nation, Monday (21/11/2011).
"Now it is time for Pakistan to address the persisting and terror action, especially the Group of extremists in Afghanistan's border region," he asserted.
Australia's first female Prime Minister also mentioned the positive developments taking place in central Afghanistan. This caused more and more Taliban and more tertekannya day was its influence increasingly weakened.(faj)
