KABUL- Two troops of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) was reported to have died after being shot by a civilian and another is believed to be Afghanistan's army in the South of the country.
"The incident occurred after a man snatched weapons from troops at a military post in the province of Kandahar," said District Chief Mohammad Niaz Thursday Zhary Sarhadi was quoted as saying Thursday, AFP (1/3/2012).
More NATO troops, said Sahardi who was killed was a United States Army (USA).
The International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) alone justify this shooting incident.
"Two people, one believed to be Afghanistan's army and a is the other look like civilians opened fire in the direction of NATO forces in southern Afghanistan. The incident killed two members of NATO, "said ISAF description.
NATO refused to give further details regarding this incident.
If the true death toll came from the u.s. forces then the number of US troops killed during protests denouncing the Koran holy book burning has been increased to six people.
Incidents of burning the Koran Holy Book by NATO forces had invited reactions of outrage from the citizens of Afghanistan. Thousands of people reportedly took to the streets across the country to denounce acts of burning the Koran. The action of protest killed 25 citizens of Afghanistan.
The u.s. alone has already said, it's burning the Koran is an accidental action.(rhs)
