BETHLEHEM -leader of the Fatah Faction of Palestinian Marwan Barghouti said the Palestinians and Israel, the conflict will only end when Israel ceased occupying Palestine.
Barghouti's Fatah officials were currently detained by Israel forces in the prison of Jerusalem. He is also one of the Palestinian officials who refused to recognize Israel. Barghouti also highlighted the issue of reconciliation between the factions in Palestine at the time he was in court.
"The Palestinian Authority has not yet set a definite date for the process of reconciliation. When they set it, we'll see what happens. One of the most important thing is to form a Government of unity and the Palestinian resistance to Israel by doing how to diplomatically, "said Barghouti, Maanwas quoted as saying, Thursday (26/1/2012).
Fatah leaders were sentenced to life imprisonment since 2004. Barghouti had escaped the assassination plan carried out by Israel in 2001 ago. However, Israel's forces managed to catch him in Ramallah on charges of committing acts of terror and murder and conspiracy.
Barghouti also refused to give testimony-testimony regarding the events of confinement by Israel. But Barghouti still comes across as a strong and important figure for Palestinians.
