TEL AVIV -Time meeting with the Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin, Israel's Foreign Minister, Avigdor Lieberman called on Russia to stop the supply of weapons to Syria.
Lieberman urges Russia to stop the supply of weapons to Syria, along with the further worsening of the situation in Syria. Lieberman also hope, that demands will get a positive response diutarakannya of Russia for shipping weapons to Syria would give a negative impact on the situation in Syria. So reported Haaretz, Thursday (08/12/2011).
In addition to discussing the issue of Syria, Lieberman also alluded to the problem of Palestine. Lieberman says, Russia unilaterally support against Palestinian stance United Nations (UN) will not help the peace agreement between Palestinians and Jewish State.
Israel's Foreign Minister is one of the party in opposition to extreme enough attitude to Palestinians at the United Nations. He even considered a threat to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
Do not forget, Lieberman also addressed the issue of Iran's activities which is a partner of Russia and Hezbollah fighters as well as Hamas threatened Israel that often.(rhs)
