MANILA -Earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale struck the Philippines. Magnitude is large enough, it is rumored not to cause danger of tsunami.
Earthquake shook the island of Samar, centered around 100 kilometres north of the town of Guiuan. While the center into the quake reached 60 kilometers.
According to The United States Geological Survey (USGS), the central point of the quake was at 600 kilometers east of Manila.
