Iran Delays Test Long-range Missile

TEHRAN Iran military officials reported, long-distance missile trials were postponed. However, they still will carry out the test weapon pit several days ahead.

"Exercise to test long-range missiles would have us do a few days ahead," said a military official of Iran Mahmoud Mousavi, Reuterswas quoted as saying, Saturday (31/12/2011).

One of the long range missiles Iran is Shabab-3 that can reach targets as far as 2 thousand kilometers. The missiles were capable of also stormed the military base (USA) United States and Israel in the Middle East.

Previously, Mousavi says, firing long-range missiles that would be the culmination of a 10-day military exercise held by the land of Persia. Trials were also carried out in the midst of the tension between the u.s. and Iran.
