KHYBER-At least 35 people were reported killed in the bombing incident occurred in the middle of a crowded market in Pakistan. The bomb was placed in a truck parked in the vicinity of the market.
A bomb exploded in a crowded market in the region of Jamrud, Khyber. Police say, the rest of the citizens who happened to be sitting on top of the truck were killed by bomb blast. So reported Deccan Herald, Tuesday (10/1/2012).
While the victim was hurt when it was taken to a nearby hospital. Around 60 people were reported wounded by the explosion.
The power of the bomb is estimated to be sizable. Proven to be a fuel pump and several vehicles were severely damaged by the explosion.
It is not clear who the target of this attack. But according to reports, there are some members of the anti-Taliban groups across the scene.
But until now there has not been a party responsible for the blast. Several groups Of Taliban militants such as e and Lashkar e Islam is active in the area of the site of the explosion.
However there has been no evidence that there are between the two groups had indeed been behind the blast. Suspicions were strengthened to a Group Of Taliban who e recently memperingkatkan will take the offensive in the area.
