A Tsunami Warning Was Issued, Residents Evacuated

TOKYO -a magnitude 6.8 on the richter scale Earthquake (SR) that hit Japan this day, sparking warnings of tsunami hazards. Residents around the area of the quake were immediately evacuated.

Japan Meteorological Agency before the tsunami as high as 50 centimeter Central following the earthquake which shook the northern island of Hokkaido earlier.

As reported by AFP, Wednesday (16/3/2012), the local government is currently requesting that citizens to conduct an evacuation to a safe location.

"Waves (tsunami) first is expected to hit the Mainland at 6.40 p.m. (local time). And the citizens who live on the coast have been ordered to conduct an evacuation, "Japan Meteorological Agency pernyatan.

The earthquake struck after Week 11 last March, the citizens of Japan commemorates the magnitude 9.0 earthquake that hit one SR year.

The quake led to 19 thousand citizens were killed, and paralysing Fukushima nuclear power plants and nuclear crisis provoked an interminable.

There are no reports of new damage experienced by NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS, following the latest Quake Region.
