MADRID -what it's like when everyone in the city of residence managed to get the lottery, but it was felt a man in a small town in Spain.
Approximately 70 residents in the town of Sodeto, buy a ticket lottery that together and when the withdrawal of the raffle is conducted, the townspeople were collectively loter won. The amount won is also quite large i.e. USD950 million or approximately Rp8,5 trillion (USD 8.960 per USD).
But unfortunately, a resident named Costis Mitsotakis didn't get this lottery. As a head of Government of the town selling lottery tickets, Mitsotakis is rumored not to buy it.
The amount the lottery is quite diverse. Minimun of lottery money was rumored to reach thousands or some USD130 billion Rp1,1.
Of course it's supremely helpful results partly loter townspeople were indeed filled by construction workers, farmers and the unemployed.
The Christmas El Gordo lottery is indeed already implemented by the Government of Spain during the last 200 years. The lottery was first launched in 1812 and was known as the biggest lottery in the world.
Mitsotakis explained, though he felt sad not getting the lottery, a lottery winner offers to buy a piece of land which had long wanted to sold.
"It's a small town. You would certainly not want the feeling of widespread dis-ease, "explains Mitsotakis was quoted as saying the Digital Spy, Friday (3/2/2012).(faj)
