MOSCOW – Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia Anatoly Antonov said, Russia and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) will hold a joint military exercise in Germany.
The combined exercise between NATO and Russia was conceived in November 2010 and then at high level Conferences (the SUMMIT) in Lisbon, Portugal to NATO. Announcement of joint military exercises amid Russia's lack of articulated tension between Russia and NATO missile defence system in Europe.
The exercises will be held by both sides that will also be concerned with missile defense. Russia was still demanding to be a security assurance of NATO missiles in Poland and Lithuania. However, NATO still refused to give written security assurance.
