Suu Kyi Believes Burma Toward Change

NEW YORK -Myanmar opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi said that the country currently is heading rapidly change to democracy. Suu Kyi was preparing to seek the middle seat in Parliament in the elections.

"Myanmar towards change to democracy. We have not led to a breakthrough, but at least it's almost reached a breakthrough towards democracy, "explained Aung San Suu Kyi AFPwas quoted as saying, Thursday (12/1/2012).

Don't forget also to keep Suu Kyi pushes his country through a very difficult period. For him with the help of the international world, Myanmar will continue to undergo changes towards reforms smoothly.

The winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1991 also voiced the apresiasinya to the world that continue to support international country and himself.

On Tuesday 10 January, Suu Kyi confirmed will stand as a member of Parliament in elections next April. Nomination of Suu Kyi will be announced at a meeting of the party.

According to a spokesman for the National Democratic League Party (NLD) Nyan Win, Suu Kyi will seek opportunities to represent the area of Yangon, also his hometown.

Suu Kyi's participation will add strength and showed significant change of the country, after the end of the power of the military junta that lasted almost 50 years.

Earlier, the Electoral Commission earlier already received applications of Burma registration NLD party. Last year the Party was led by Suu Kyi's decision to back the country's politics was ruled by the military.
