SEOUL- A cargo ship belonging to South Korea (Rok) was hit by an explosion in the West coast of the country today. As a result of an explosion that five crew members were reported killed and six others were declared missing.
The explosion caused extensive damage at the front of the ship and make a ton of that ship half drowned 4198.
"Five of her crew were saved and rescuers managed to shift the middle trying to find other victims are still missing," said Coast Guard officer, Kim Dong-jin, was quoted as saying Associated Press, , Week (3/1/2012).
The blast occurred at a location that is far from the border sea Carousel and North Korea. Carousel also don't want to hastily accuse North Korea as the mastermind behind this explosion incident.
Cargo ships are generally carry refined petroleum products and chemicals it carries Middle 80 tons of Bunker-C oil and 40 tons of diesel oil as fuel. But authorities have not been able to explain in detail the cause of the explosion.
