"Without Anti-Zone, The Middle East Has The Danger Of Nuclear Weapons"

RIYADH -former head of intelligence of Saudi Arabia's Prince al Faisal remind Turkey, the Middle East will enter a phase of arms race when anti-nuclear weapon zones are not enforced.

Prince Al Faisal, who had previously served as Ambassador to Saudi Arabia to the United States (U.S.) and United Kingdom urged the five permanent members of the Security Council United Nations (SECURITY COUNCIL) to build an anti-nuclear weapon zones and impose sanctions on any country in the Middle East which have nuclear weapons.

"I think, the zone of anti-nuclear weapons is the best way to solve the nuclear problem in the Middle East and prevent Iran build weapons of mass destruction," said Al-Faisal, was quoted as saying Arabian Business, Thursday (26/1/2012).

Proposal zone anti-nuclear weapons earlier have been proposed by Saudi Arabia in 1995, prompting a review of the agreement at a meeting of nuclear Nonpoliferasi (NPT), however the proposal it appeared to be ignored.

The man who was quite influential in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was also reminded of the dangers of nuclear armament race in the Middle East. To date, the Member States of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) also had agreed not to build nuclear weapons in view of the dangers.

"Not only us who have energy nulir, there is Turkey, Egypt, and there is also a have already attacked Iraq. They all have a nuclear program since 1960 ago, so did Syria. However, you also are dealing with countries in the Middle East that actually have nuclear weapons, "he added.(AUL)
