PETMAN, the robot able to imitate the movements of a soldier

PETMAN, el robot capaz de imitar los movimientos de un soldado


This friendly robot that we see here above calls PETMAN. As we can see, has a full body which includes torso, legs, feet, arms, and "head", the only thing that would be missing are the hands... and a different head. Despite its appearance, PETMAN is about 1.70 m and thanks to its technology is capable of running, bending, turning, kneel and can even do push-ups (lizards). While it is designed to move like a human soldier, it is not designed for combat, so if it takes him to the battlefield surely it will be for assistance or to save lives.


The company that has created is Boston Dynamics, the same that created the quadruped robot, AlphaDog.
