Iran: U.S. Sanctions is a form of psychological warfare

TEHRAN- Iran's Foreign Ministry rejected the latest sanctions against Iran that dropped US.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast, Iran says the sanctions are part of what he called psychological warfare to spread discontent among the people of Iran.

"The Central Bank of Iran has no financial transactions with the United States, therefore the sanctions will not affects Iran," said spokesman kemenlu Iran Ramin Mehmanparast as cited the Associated Press Tuesday, (7/2/2012).

Mehmanparast also mentions that no further sanctions AS simply a form of propaganda.

Previously, President Barack Obama has reportedly dropped the new sanctions, addressed to the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

Sanctions is expected to curb the activities of Iran's economy and was ultimately able to make Iran halting its nuclear program.

The latest from the US sanctions against Iran was a continuation of previous sanctions already issued earlier by the European Union.

However a series of sanctions meted out by the West is not never make Iran to halt its nuclear program budging. Iran insisted its nuclear program peacefully.(rhs)
