JAKARTA – Ambassador of the United States (U.S. Ambassador) to Scot Marciel, Indonesia said Indonesia played a very active in Asean in terms of diplomacy, and others.
"Indonesia is very active in terms of diplomacy, we hope Indonesia can forward activeness in every international forum," said Ambassador Marciel in the Office of the US Embassy in Jakarta, Saturday (10/11/2011).
The US Ambassador for Asean David Lee Carden also commented on the issue of leadership related Asean Indonesia.
"There are two differences between ' of leadership ' and ' leadership ' in my opinion, Indonesia has shown good leadership in Asean. Any chance there is for increasing the achievement keep Indonesia, "said Carden.
The US Ambassador also said Indonesia's success in rolling out, meeting of the Summit (the SUMMIT) at Bali Asean to 19.
Aside from the US, Indonesia also have got the praise from Asean Secretary-general Surin Pitsuwan. Surin said, Indonesia is a country that had experienced in dealing with conflicts and other problems. Surin also assess, Indonesia is quite disproportionate time became Chairman of Asean, Indonesia is also the only Asean country incorporated in the G-20.(rhs)
