The Palestinians want to Extend the cooperation of energy with RI

It said Fariz Mehdawi n. in a speech closing the Introductory Course on Integrated Energy Planning and Long-range Energy Alternatives Planning (LEAP) Model at the Hotel Morrissey, Jakarta.

Cooperation in the energy sector in Indonesia is increasingly relevant to Palestinian plans to set up strategies for the utilization of energy resources that still face numerous challenges in Palestine.

In that regard, training was organized Ministry of energy and Mineral resources in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) under the framework of the New Asian African Strategic Partnership (NAASP) has inspired the trainees to apply the method of calculation of the energy used in Indonesia.

Director of Cooperation Intrakawasan Asia Pacific and Africa Kemlu, Arto Suryodipuro, in his speech welcomed the expansion of capacity building for Palestinians in the energy sector.

"In addition to improving the competence and technical cooperation between the Palestinians and Indonesia, the NAASP Capacity Building Programs for Palestine has been proven to encourage people to browse the contact as the application of multi-track diplomacy of INDONESIA," said Arto.

Within the framework of NAASP Capacity Building Programs for Palestine, since 2008 Indonesia has provided training for 225 Palestinian participants through 45 programs in various fields in addition to energy, such as infrastructure, health, industry, and diplomacy.
