Pakistani Taliban commander Arrested in Karachi

KARACHI -Pakistani military Authorities said they managed to resist the Taliban militant commander Usman Ghani. He was arrested in the city of Karachi.

Ghani was arrested in the area of Orangi. In addition to himself, the police also captured three Taliban militants. So reported Associated Press, Thursday (27/10/2011).

Ditangkapnya Ghani assured will hit the Taliban movement in Pakistan. His arrest was certainly disturbing the usual operation of the Taliban in Pakistan make chaos and Afghanistan.

Earlier, a Taliban militant commander was reported to have died in the hands of the other members of its own. Maulvi Muhammad Iftikhar was shot dead on Oct. He was shot in the town of Miranshah, North Waziristan.

Iftikhar is one of the highest Commander of the Taliban Of e. When penembakannya, a bodyguard of Iftikhar reportedly were killed while two others were wounded.

The Pakistani military believes the deaths at the hands of his own anggotannya Iftikhar, the result of differences in the group. Iftikhar itself is considered a dangerous Commander and became the main suspect in the Red Mosque attack Islamabad, July 2008.
