The bridge collapse, 30 people Feared Drowned

GAUHATI-A gantung bridge collapses in India were reported. Around 30 people are feared drowned, while falling into the river when the bridge collapsed.

Police and paramilitary soldiers of India is currently struggling to find victims of the collapse of the bridge in the town of Seppa. The authorities recently found two bodies of victims of the collapse of the bridge.

"One of the bodies were found overnight and one this morning found anywhere else. Most of the victims who fell along with the bridge are women and children, "said police officer Kyle Aya was quoted as saying Associated Press, week (30/10/2011).

Teams of divers were finally deployed to help police work. They continued searching for victims missing are feared dead.

Nahas is known to bridge divides the Kameng River, in the State of Arunahal Pradesh. The collapsed bridge incident was the second time this happened within a week in India.

Previously, October 22, then a wooden bridge ruins in the District of Darjeeling, West Bengal State. The incident caused 31 people were killed.
