The well-known singer of 21 years, Taylor Swift, has been named by Billboard magazine as the "woman of the year", thus becoming successor to in this title to various celebrities such as Beyonce, Reba McEntire and Fergie.Being the youngest artist to receive the mentioned award, will be honored next December 2 at an event to be held in New York. This award is the most recent of the singer who last year was also recognized with a Grammy Award for best album.
Since the launch in October of last year, the last album of Taylor Swift, "Speak Now", has sold more than 3.6 million copies, placing the star as one of the most desirable on the market.
