CANBERRA -the Foreign Minister of Australia, Bob Carr and Minister for defence Stephen Smith welcomed dialogue with Indonesia which will take place in Canberra, Australia. This dialogue will take place Thursday 15 March, tomorrow.
Dialogue, Foreign Minister and defence of Australia-Indonesia is forum 2 + 2 (two plus two) premiered, conducted by the two countries.
Foreign Minister looks forward to extensive discussions with Carr's Foreign Minister and Defence Minister Yusgiantoro Natalegawa about foreign policy and defence of the common interest, in order to identify the challenges and opportunities of bilateral, region and globally.

Dialogue 2 + 2 is an important step in the efforts of the more historic and consolidated the relationship that has been very closely between Australia and Indonesia. Parties in Indonesia will be represented by Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa and Minister of Defense Dr. Purnomo Yusgiantoro.
Foreign Minister looks forward to extensive discussions with Carr's Foreign Minister and Defence Minister Yusgiantoro Natalegawa about foreign policy and defence of the common interest, in order to identify the challenges and opportunities of bilateral, region and globally.
"Dialogue with the with Indonesia serve as the essential forum for identifying areas for future bilateral cooperation," said Foreign Minister Carr in Australia Embassy press release information obtained from, Wednesday (16/3/2012).
Meeting of Prime Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense will focus on bilateral cooperation under the Treaty of Lombok, the cooperation of the wider region, the global environment and its effects on the latest Australia and Indonesia.
Close relationship with Australia and important is backed by Traktrat Lombok Indonesia, including shared commitment on the sovereignty, unity, independence and territorial integrity of the two countries.
"Australia and Indonesia are working to expand defense cooperation and security and to improve the coordination of humanitarian and disaster assistance, international peacekeeping efforts, anti-piracy and maritime security," said Defence Minister Stephen Smith, Australia.
"This dialogue will increase cooperation in political, economic, social, defence and security which has lasted long between Australia and Indonesia, and help determine the direction and interests relations area with us. Including in terms of stability, progress and prosperity of the Asia-Pacific, "he added.
Australia-Indonesia dialogue 2 + 2 was agreed upon during a State visit of President Yudhoyono to Australia in March 2010. This dialogue will be the first official meeting of Foreign Minister Carr Indonesia work with partners, since being appointed Foreign Minister of Australia, replacing Kevin Rudd last month.
