GENEVA- The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) ensured the convoy carrying relief supplies various needs heading into the city of Homs Syria.
"The convoy of seven trucks containing food and various other needs have left the city of Damascus in this morning," said ICRC Spokesman Hicham Hassan in Geneva as cited the Associated Press Friday, (2/3/2012).
ICRC spokesman also said it was expecting a convoy can be arrived at the city of Homs before the afternoon despite a fall of snow is expected to slow down the course of the convoy.
"The Red Crescent Volunteers and Ambulances were already waiting in the city of Homs will be entering the District of Baba Amr as soon as possible," he added.
Government of Syria is rumored to have given permission for humanitarian volunteer to enter the District of Baba Amr after successful capturing the city from the hands of the rebels.
Syria's Army earlier reported successfully beat back the rebels who controlled the region of Homs.
UN political officer B Lynn Pascoe said, Syria which took place since the crisis in March 2011 and have killed more than 7,500 people.
"Almost every day 100 people are in condition of dying due to the violence perpetrated by Government forces to quell the protests against President Assad," said UN political officer B Lynn Pascoe.(rhs)
