Japan Immediately Close Nuclear Power Plants

TOKYO -Government of Japan said it would immediately shut down the nuclear reactor of the nuclear power plants (NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS) which is already 40 years old. This step is done to improve safety, after the nuclear crisis after the tsunami last year.

As reported by the Associated Press, Saturday (7/1/2012), concern about the continued aging reactors was developed since the three reactors at NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS units Fukushima Dai-ichi had leaks after the tsunami earthquake accompanied by 11 last March.

Fukushima NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS built since 1967 ago himself. While other military-nuclear reactor that was more than 40 years of NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS, among others, Tsuruga and Mihama. Both were built in 1970.

More than 54 reactors owned by the 40 year old Japan will within the next few years. But many are also the reactor which was built a few years ago.
