SEOUL -South Korea (Rok) claims it is now ready to conduct dialogue with North Korea (North Korea). They were ready to conduct negotiations while the attitude of North Korea are lately often issued a statement.
"We are open to dialogue with North Korea, but it all depends on how North Korea be," says Foreign Minister of South Korea's Kim Sung-Hwan was quoted as saying Reuters, Thursday (5/1/2012).
According to Foreign Minister Sung-Hwan, after the death of Kim Jong-Il, North Korea still seem to want to isolate itself from the international world. But he admitted it will never attempt to interfere with the Affairs of its neighbour's internal affairs.
North Korea currently have selected Kim Jong-Un knighted Kim Jong-Il who died 17 December. Now, Jong-un began to widen its influence among the country's military. It seemed to invite concerns the ROK United States and its allies (the USA).
Since the death of Kim Jong-Il, North Korea seems to have started back to his old habits and hard language which has had a carousel. Earlier, North Korea called the President of South Korea Lee Myung-Bak does not put respect for the death of Kim Jong-Il.
But behind all that, there is hope that the two neighboring countries will continue the peace dialogue back them. North Korea would need some help with the food crisis that they face, while the ROK want peace on the peninsula of Korea.(faj)
