Mass grave Found in northern Afghanistan

KABUL -old mass grave already tens years old, was found in the northern part of Afghanistan. Dozens of skulls also appear to be in the grave.

The citizens of Afghanistan find mass grave in the District of Takhar Province, Rustag, Afghanistan.

As much as 20 to 30 human skeletons found in the grave. According to the investigation, this grave was aged around 70 years.

"We conducted an investigation of the central cemetery and unclear, some inhabitants are buried here," said local government spokesman Faiz Mohammad Tawhidi, as quoted Pak Tribune, Friday (30/10/2011).

Sar village chief Abdul Momin sure Asyab, mass grave contains the remains of the victims who perished in the civil war of 15 to 20 years ago. Momin said, many of the citizens of the considered anti-Government were killed.

Meanwhile former Afghanistan officials deny the existence of murder Peram Qul in that area. He said that there were grave, when the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan in 1979 ago.

Human skeletons are grave are the skeletons of Mujahideen fighters.

Rustaq district is a place not far from the place where the Mujahideen Commander Ahmad Shah Massoud was executed earlier in 2001.(rhs)
