SANAA Yemen Vice President Abd-Rabbo Mansour Hadi had the support of many citizens of Yemen to be President. Hadi is also a single candidate in the presidential election.
66 year old male that replaced Ali Abdullah Saleh and will lead the Transitional Government in Yemen, along with the transfer of power agreement that was made by the Pious before Saleh resigned from Office.
Hadi agreed to conduct reforms in Yemen when he runs the Transitional Government. He also wanted to witness the lack of dialogue between all political factions in Yemen in order to put an end to the violence. Hadi even vowed to continue the fight against the Al Qaeda militant bercokol in his country. So as reported IANS, Saturday (25/2/2012).
Yemen elections held on the basis of the transfer of power agreement facilitated by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The Treaty signed by Saleh on November 2011 in the city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With the Treaty, Saleh had to give up power to Hadi, who at the time was his Deputy. Saleh, who has been in power in Yemen since 1978 ago resigned in favor of ending the bloodshed and a humanitarian crisis in the country.
Hadi also will hold a transitional Government that would hold parliamentary elections process and more. The electoral process is also aimed at ending the violence that occurred during the one-year duration.(AUL)
