India Worries Of Arab Countries

RIYADH -India Defence Minister AK Antony expressed concern with respect to the Gulf countries in the Middle East. Antony had hoped the crisis in the region will soon be ended through dialogue.

"The current situation emerged in the territory of the Gulf reaped worries from India and we hope that the crisis in the Gulf area can be resolved through negotiations," said Antony, as quoted PTI, Tuesday (17/2/2012).

The statement came in response to the enactment of sanctions Antony performed by the United States (US) and the European Union against Iran that its nuclear program is running. Antony also made periodic visits to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to meet King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz al Saud on Monday yesterday.

In his visit to Saudi Arabia, Antony also intends to conduct a defense cooperation between his country and Saudi Arabia. Today, Antony would soon meet with the Minister of defence of Saudi Arabia Prince Salman.

At the same time, Saudi Arabia also intends to increase the supply of crude oil to the country's Assamese.

More recently, India has often been referred to as the new power in the world. India even wanted a large enough role in the international political scene. In addition, India is also often called for reforms in the Security Council of the United Nations because India was aiming for membership stays in the organization.(AUL)
