Al Qaeda Seeks Rebel Leaders Syria More Independent

DUBAI- Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri urging rebels to Syria not to rely on Western countries and Arab world in the running of their uprising to topple the regime of President Bashar al-Assad. It delivered al-Zawahiri in his latest video post today.

The Video lasted eight minutes was titled Onwards, the Lions of Syria is posted through an Islamic site. In addition, al-Zawahiri also calling for Muslims in Turkey, Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan to help the rebellion which currently occurs in Syria.

"Syria still continue to grieve, day after day, while Bashar al-Assad has not gone is unwavering," said al-Zawahiri video recordings as quoted in Reuters Sunday, (12/2/2012).

But al-Zawahiri insists, despite Syria's resistance has to go through sacrifice, bloodshed and the pain has been well developed.

Muslims must help his brothers in Syria with all that he can, his life, his money, as well as the information he had, "said Zawahiri.

In July 2011, al-Zawahri also urged Syria to drive rebels their movement against Washington and Israel. Al-qaeda also had denounced the action AS the dinilainya did not write in showing solidarity terhdapa Syria.

Earlier this month, another video was also released in an Islamic radio station announced a group of militants Somalia Al Shabaab has joined the ranks of Al-Qaeda as a real effort to boost morale and memepertajam a threat to the West and its allies.
