Sudanese militant Culik over 20 Chinese Workers

-BEIJING China's Foreign Ministry said more than 20 Chinese nationals missing in the turbulent region in Sudan. Dozens of residents were missing after a group of militants attacked their workplace.

"The militants attacked the workers Saturday 28 January. Today the Sudanese security forces have been conducting rescue missions through coordination with the Chinese Embassy in Khartoum. The Chinese Government did not provide further details regarding the incident. But the Government-owned media Xinhua mentioned in his report, the attack was carried out by the Sudan People's Liberation Army in Southern Kurdofa.

Sudan People's Liberation Army is a group of militants loyal to the South and the movement came from ethnic minority groups are now in control of southern Sudan.

Sudan accuses Southern Sudanese armed groups of pro-southern Sudan in the area south of Kordofa. Government of southern Sudan have been pointing fingers of accusation that aims to shake up the Government of southern Sudan.

China has been known to have sent a large number of workers to the areas that have the potential for a conflict such as Sudan, for example.
