Malaysia overseas citizens barred from Election

KUALA LUMPUR -A High Court in Malaysia banned six of their own citizens to follow the elections. Six citizens of Malaysia's central work in the United Kingdom are known.

"According to the decision of the Court based the recommendation of the General Election Commission Malaysia, six citizens who currently reside abroad are unable to follow the elections and vote for them," explained members of Malaysia'S HUMAN RIGHTS Commission Detta Samen AFPwas quoted as saying, Saturday (7/1/2012).

The decision to make this observation has six citizens of Malaysia. Whereas before Prime Minister Najib Razak promising equal rights for its citizens in Foreign Affairs, to vote as well as their nationals in the country.

PM Najib own promising implementation of elections in order to do this year, following a violent protest over election results earlier in July. The protest was underway, after election results July suspected filled with cheating.

Residents who protest demanding that around one million citizens of Malaysia abroad can vote them out. So far, only government employees, military personnel and students residing abroad who can vote.

But in fact, although the Government has promised to give a chance, nonetheless the citizens of Malaysia are going about it is not able to participate in the elections.
