6 were killed by a bomb in Afghanistan Kills Airport

KABUL -Action suicide bombings back going on in Afghanistan today. The bombing took place at the international airport of Kandahar, Southern Afghanistan and killed six people.

"Six civilians were killed in a suicide bomb attack near the gates of the Kandahar Airport today," explained police chief Kandahar, General Abdul Razeq was quoted as saying AFP, Thursday (7/1/2012).

Militant Taliban group claiming to be responsible for this latest incident. "Our Target is the bulletproof vehicle belonging to the coalition forces," said a spokesman for the Taliban French Yousuf Ahmadi.

The Commander of the army's Southern Afghanistan General Hamid Wardak had earlier said three civilians were killed in the attack. But the number was later corrected to six.

While a spokesman for the coalition forces of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) said there was no foreign troops who are victims in this incident. While suicide bomb attacks were known to be derived from a vehicle driven by the perpetrators of the bombing.

Somehow the continuation of peace talks between the Government of Afghanistan after the Taliban attack. NATO commander General John Allen said the attack showed that Taliban leader Mullah Omar has already lost control of his army.

"This attack should be condemned and he ordered his forces to attack civilians during the Taliban," explained Allen.

For this latest attack Allen proved that action militancy continued to show the war directly to the people of Afghanistan. He was convinced that the Taliban will continue to use intimidation and terror in order to obtain their goals.
