Give your Passport to Thaksin, Yingluck Indicted

BANGKOK -Parliament of Thailand from the Democratic Party soon indictments to Yingluck Shinawatra Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul, granting passports to related cases of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

"The petition shall be signed by members of the Anti-corruption Commission of Thailand, Surapong will charged Yingluck and abuse of power by giving due to Passport to the premier," said opposition leader Wirat Kalayasiri, Thailand, was quoted as saying Bangkok Post, Friday (30/12/2011).

Wirat said, Thaksin was not eligible to obtain a new passport. Thaksin also had to be at large and always flee from arrest.

Previously approved the giving of Surapong new passport to Thaksin in a meeting. Surapong also said Thaksin was allowed by the Supreme Court of Thailand to leave Thailand and went to Japan and China.

"Thaksin is not forbidden to travel, the Court gave her permission, so there is no reason not to give him a passport," said Surapong.

Surapong also added, the premier will need a passport to his identity when travelling abroad.

Thaksin's passport was revoked by the Government of Thailand is still led by Abhisit Vejjajiva. However, the Premier of Montenegro citizenship that made him able to travel abroad.

Thaksin also was indicted on charges of abuse of power and corruption. To date, the Premier also threatened with imprisonment.(rhs)
