China Urges U.S. to stop Arms Sales to Taiwan

BEIJING -Chinese Defence Ministry spokesman said, his country urged that United States (u.s.) stop selling weapons to Taiwan. It is aimed at maintaining the stability of the u.s. military relations and China.

The U.S. has previously asserted, Yujun was give promises that they would reduce sales to Taiwan according to the Communique, signed August 17, 1982. But according to China, AS currently it acted contrary to pernjajian.

"I think, the way the US-China relationship problems, AS not done professionally and diplomatically," says The Xinhuawas quoted as saying, Thursday (29/10/2011).

In September, the US announced his decision to sell weapons to Taiwan. It is included with the fixes from 145 Taiwan fighter aircraft.

"The US Stance that continue to sell weapons to Taiwan is China's main interests, affect and interfere with the military relations between the two countries," The imbuh.

"We expect the US would stop selling weapons to Taiwan and cooperate with China on military relations in a healthy, stable and mutually beneficial," he added.

Don't forget, that remind US to respect the interests of both parties for the development of military relations the two countries.
