There were rumors that Google was working on a few new lenses of augmented reality, and it seems that these rumors turned out to be certain because the company has just presented a prototype of its Glass Project. These new glasses could change the way in which we live, or at least make us more dependent on technology to perform everyday tasks.
We all know that augmented reality technology is nothing new, in fact some smartphones have it and they are capable of showing the world from another point of view. But Google's augmented reality glasses are more than that.
Project Glass takes the concept of augmented to one higher reality include several functions which can be very useful. These functions include voice recognition that allows us to make calls and video calls, we can also share photos on social networks (presumably Google +) and also get maps in real time, know the details of the time, get reminders and more.
Project Glass is like a personal assistant in the style of Apple's Siri, but this time add augmented reality. Google has not given many more details thereon, but according to rumors, the price will be between $250 and $600 dollars and the launch will be at the end of 2012.
By the way, the design is not yet finished.
